Overview

What to expect

When the sun goes down, Stone Town comes alive. Start with sunset over the harbour, then dive into Forodhani Gardens' famous night food market — Zanzibar pizza, seafood skewers, sugarcane juice and urojo soup.

Wander the lantern-lit alleys with a local guide, enjoy a drink on a rooftop with live music, and if you like, carry on to the island's best bars and beach parties.
